AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $3,502,000.00 <br />THE 1997 ACTION PLAN COMPONENT OF THE <br />COMMUNITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN. <br /> <br />FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF <br />CITY'S CONSOLIDATED <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virgmnia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the sum of S3,502,000.00 be, and the same hereby <br />ms, appropriated for implementatmon of the 1997 Action Plan <br />component of the City's Consolidated Community Planning and <br />Development Plan, and such appropriation is to be made in the <br />following manner: <br /> <br /> Ao <br />Grants <br /> <br /> Co <br />and <br /> <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> s2,226,000.00 from 1997 Community Developmenm Block <br />Funds; <br /> <br /> $400,000.00 from 1997 program income; <br /> <br /> $58,000.00 from the Emergency Shelter Grant Program; <br /> <br />$818,000.00 from the 1997 HOME Program funds. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall take effect on the date of its <br /> <br /> Adopted <br />Virginia, at <br /> <br />by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />a meeting held on October 15, 1996. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
