(2) Showers. Showers shall be provided in the proportion <br />of one (1) for each forty (40) persons at the time of maximum <br />load. Each shower shall supply an adequate quantity of <br />tempered water. Water from each shower shall be provided with <br />suitable facilities for making soap available. <br /> <br /> (3) Toilets. Toilet facilities shall be provided as set <br />forth in the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code. <br /> <br /> (4) Lavatories. Lavatories shall be provided as set <br />forth in the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code. <br /> <br /> (5) Items (1) through (4) shall not apply when bathers <br />have access to these facilities' either in living quarters <br />located not more than five hundred (500) feet (152.4 meters) in <br />travel distance from the pool, or in an adjacent building such <br />as a recreational facility, clubhouse or cabana. <br /> <br /> (6) Mirrors~ Mirrors, if provided, shall be constructed <br />in accordance with the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building <br />Code. <br /> <br />Sec. 34-28. Spectators/spectator areas. <br /> <br /> SPectator areas shall be so separated from the pool area <br />that spectators 'do not have access to the pool, area. <br />Spectator balconies shall not overhang any portion of the pool <br />surface. <br /> <br />Sec. 34-29. Wading pools. <br /> <br /> (a) The slope of the bottom of any wading pool shall be <br />no greater than 1:15 nor less than 1:40. <br /> <br /> (b) Wading pools shall be so designed that no <br />obstructions are within an area,bounded by a line five (5) feet <br />(1.5 meters) outside of the pool perimeter. <br /> <br /> (c) Wading pools shall be separated from the main pool by <br />a suitable barrier with a self-closing and self-latching <br />device. <br /> <br /> (d) Wading pools shall be provided with their own water <br />return line to provide an adequate flow of chlorinated water, <br />or shall have a filter system completely separate from the main <br />pool with a turnover of two (2) hours or less. <br /> <br />(e) Wading pools shall be required to have a vacuum line. <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br /> <br />
