AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $282,000.00 FROM THE CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENTS FUND FOR THE REMOVAL OF ASBESTOS PRIOR TO THE <br />CONSTRUCTION OF A NEWGENERAL DISTRICT COURTROOM TO BE LOCATED <br />IN THE POLICE HEADQUARTERS BUILDING. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that the sum of Two Hundred Eighty-Two Thousand <br />Dollars and 00/100 ($282,000.00) be, and the same hereby is <br />appropriated from the Capital ImprovemenEs Fund for the removal <br />of asbesEos prior to the construction of a new General District <br />Courtroom to be located in the Police Headquarters Building. <br /> <br /> That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, au a meeting held on April 11, 1995. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
