AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 40 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (1988) BY AMENDING TABLE 40-43.1-3 <br />THEREOF, PERTAINING TO THE OPERATION OF CHILD DAY CARE <br />FACILITIES IN CERTAIN DOWNTOWN D-1 AND D-2 ZONING SUBDISTRICTS. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Table 40-43.1-3 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia (1988), be amended and reordained to <br />permit the use "Child Day Care Services" (S.I.C. 835) in the <br />Downtown D-1-P Public and D-2-P Public zoning subdistricts upon <br />the granting of a use permit and subject to the requirements of <br />Specific Use Condition 70 and Parking Group 40. <br /> <br /> 2. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of <br />its adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on October 24, 1995. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
