A/~ ORDIi~NCE TO A~EAID THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA (1988) THEREOF, PERTAINING TO TERMS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />(1988) be amended by replacing the nerm "director of finance" <br />with the term "deputy city manager for finance", wherever that <br />term appears throughout the Code of ordinances. <br /> <br />2. That the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />(1988) be amended by replacing the term "city auditor" with the <br />term "city controller" wherever that term appears throughout <br />the Code of ordinances. <br /> <br /> 3. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, <br />1995. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on June 27, 1995. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
