That Section 7-143 be added to the Code of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia (1988) and ordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 7-143. State levy fee. <br /> <br /> In addition to the fees cited within this division, the <br />amount as specified in the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building <br />Code Volume 1, designated as a fee to be levied by localities <br />to be used to support the training program of the Virginia <br />Building Code Academy, shall be collected at the time of <br />payment for fees required under the provisions of this <br />division. <br /> <br /> 3.
