ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE 7-97-12 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> !. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and <br />made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which <br />now zones as Commercial C-2 and Residential RS-75, the property <br />described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-97-12, is <br />hereby amended and changed so as to show said property zoned as <br />Commercial C-2-K (Conditional), and that said property is <br />hereby zoned as Commercial C-2-K (Conditional).. <br /> <br /> 2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being <br />zoned Commercial C-2-K (COnditional), is described as follows: <br /> <br /> Z-97-12 <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point I00'+/- west of the <br /> northwest corner of the intersection of <br /> Portsmouth Boulevard and Walnut Avenue; <br /> thence, north 258'± to a point; thence, in a <br /> southwesterly direction 50'± to a point; <br /> thence, west 20'+/- to a point; thence, in a <br /> southwesterly direction 82'+/- to a point; <br /> thence, south 210'± to a point; thence, in <br /> an easterly direction 128'± to the point of <br /> the beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. That Zoning Amendment Ordinance Z-97-12 is <br />conditioned upon the following as proffered by the owner, James <br />F. Mosely, Jr.: <br /> <br /> (a) Uses of Lots 1, 2, 3, and 21 will be limited to those <br /> uses permitted in Commercial C-2 districts. <br /> <br /> (b) Uses on Lots 17, 18, 19, and 20 shall be limited to <br /> automobile parking, buildings, and material storage <br /> incidental to the uses permitted on Lots 1, 2, 3, and 21. <br /> Automobile parking shall be limited to customer and <br /> employee parking in conjunction with the actual use on <br /> Lots 1, 2, 3 and 20. Storage of automobiles and other <br /> motor vehicles not directly incidental to such use shall <br /> not be permitted. <br /> <br /> (c) No vehicular access will be permitted from. Watts <br /> Avenue and the rear gate shall be permanently closed. <br /> <br /> <br />
