ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z - 97 - 09 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and <br />made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which <br />now zones as Industrial M-1 the property described in Petition <br />for Zoning Amendment Number Z-97-09, is hereby amended and <br />changed so as to show said property zoned as Commercial C-2, <br />and that said property is hereby zoned as Commercial C-2. <br /> <br /> 2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being <br />zoned Commercial C-2, is described as follows: <br /> <br /> Z-97-09 <br /> <br /> Beginning at the southwestern <br /> intersection of Gust Lane and Avondale Road <br /> thence west approximately 334 feet along <br /> the southern right-of-way line of Avondale <br /> Road to a point; thence south 140 feet to a <br /> point; thence east approximately 455.01 <br /> feet to a point; thence northwest 190.8 <br /> feet along the western right-of-way line of <br /> Gust Lane to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> 3.
