AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $89,000 IN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br />FUND FOR THE ATHLETIC FIELDS AT THE WILSON LITTLE LEAGUE <br />COMPLEX AND CHURCHLAND PARK. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> That the sum of $89,000 be, and the same hereby is, <br />appropriated in the Capital Improvements Fund for the following <br />public purposes: <br /> <br /> Converting an existing City softball field into a Senior <br />Boys Baseball field. The project will include a concession <br />stand, field grading, fencing, lighting, and irrigation. <br /> <br /> Construction of a City softball field at Churchland Park. <br />The project will include grading, fencing and lighting. <br /> <br /> The total projected cost is $89,000. <br /> <br /> That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on September 9, 1997. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
