AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 22-329 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (1988) TO PROHIBIT TRUCKS ON PORTIONS OF <br />LONDON BOULEVARD AND HIGH STREET. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 22-329 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia (1988) be amended by adding the following <br />streets to those enumerated therein: <br /> <br /> Sec. 22-329. Limitation on use of certain streets by <br />trucks. <br /> <br /> High Street between Effingham Street and Virginia Avenue <br /> <br /> London Boulevard between Effingham Street and Crawford <br /> <br /> Street. <br /> <br /> 2. That Paragraph 1 of this Ordinance shall take effect <br />on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> 3. That, effective September 15, 1997, Section 22-239 of <br />the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, be amended by <br />designating London "Boulevard" as London "Street," in accordance <br />with the provisions of Ordinance 1997-11, adopted on March 11, <br />1997. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />at a meeting held on August 12, 1997. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
