AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $1,500,000.00 FROM THE CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENTS FUND FOR THE CHURCHLAND BRIDGE. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED bY the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> That the sum of $1,500,000.00 be, and the same hereby is, <br />appropriated from the Capital Improvements Fund for the <br />cleaning and painting of the Churchland Bridge. <br /> <br /> This ordinance shall grant authorization for the City <br />Manager to sign an agreement with the Virginia Department of <br />Transportation to accomplish said purpose, and, take effect on <br />the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on June 24, 1997. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
