e. Field Traininq Officers <br /> <br /> Police Officers serving as Field Training Officers, as <br /> designated by the Chief of Police, shall receive an allowance <br /> of $540 annually as approved in advance by the City Manager. <br /> <br />d. Shock Trauma/Paramedic/Cardiac Technician Certifications <br /> <br /> Sworn personnel in the Fire Department, except the Fire <br /> Chief, who have successfully obtained the following <br /> certifications will receive: <br /> <br /> Shock Trauma - $900 <br /> Cardiac Technician - $1200 <br /> Paramedic - $1600 <br /> <br />e. Hazardous Materials Team <br /> <br /> Sworn personnel in the Fire Department who have successfully <br /> completed the core classes as defined by the Department of <br /> Emergency Services and are currently assigned to the <br /> Hazardous Materials Team, shall receive an allowance of $900 <br /> annually. <br /> <br />f. Traininq Bureau and Administrative Offico <br /> <br /> Sworn personnel in the classifications of Firefighter, Fire <br /> Lieutenant, and Fire Captain, serving in the Training Bureau <br /> and Administrative Office, as designated by the Fire Chief, <br /> shall receive an allowance of $900 annually, as approved in <br /> advance by the City Manager. <br /> <br />g. Tactical Response Unit <br /> <br /> Any sworn officer assigned as one of the 17 members of the <br /> Police Tactical Response Unit shall receive an allowance in <br /> the amount of $900 annually. <br /> <br />h. Master Police Officers or Master Firefighters <br /> <br /> Sworn personnel in the classifications of Police Officer and <br /> Firefighter may receive a special allowance as Master Police <br /> Officers or Master Firefighters. This shall consist of a <br /> $1500 flat rate allowance for the duration of the period that <br /> the sworn person retains the "Master" designation, even in <br /> cases where this would cause an employee's salary to exceed <br /> the maximum of the range. <br /> <br />i. Education Allowance <br /> <br /> Sworn personnel in the classifications of Police Officer, <br /> Police Officer Trainee, Police Sergeant, Police Lieutenant, <br /> Police Captain, Assistant Police Chief, Police Chief, <br /> Firefighter, Firefighter Trainee, Fire Lieutenant, Fire <br /> Captain, Fire Battalion Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, and Fire <br /> Chief will receive an Education Allowance in the amount of <br /> <br /> -8- <br /> <br /> <br />
