AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING AN UNNAMED LANE OR <br />ALLEY BOUNDED BY CRAWFORD STREET, WATER STREET, KING <br />STREET (CLOSED) AND COUNTY STREET (CLOSED). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application to close and <br />vacate an unnamed lane or alley, as hereinafter described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at a meeting held on December 8, <br />1998, recommended approval of the closing and vacating of said unnamed lane <br />or alley; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice of the proposed closure has been given adjoining <br />property owners in accordance with Section 15.2-2006 of the Code of Virginia, <br />1950, as amended. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia that the unnamed lane or alley be closed and vacated as a <br />public street, and right of way as follows: <br /> <br /> All that certain unnamed lane, or alley, located and being in the <br /> City of Portsmouth, Virginia, said unnamed lane, or alley, being bounded <br /> by Crawford Street, Water Street, King Street (closed) and County Street <br /> (closed). <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a <br />meeting held on December 8, 1998. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
