BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a perpetual easement is hereby reserved unto the <br />City of Portsmouth in those portions of Crabapple Street and Bart Street hereby closed <br />and vacated for the installation, operation, maintenance and replacement of utilities <br />owned and operated by the City of Portsmouth and private utilities, which said easement <br />may be closed and vacated by the City Manager as he may in his discretion deem <br />appropriate, and in the best interest of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the City manager is hereby authorized to <br />make and execute such deeds of conveyance or other documents as may be necessary and <br />appropriate to give effect to the vacations and closures implemented by this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on <br />November 24, 1998. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
