building code including, but not limited to, building permits, electrical permits, plumbing <br />permits and mechanical permits, in accord with the fee schedule as follows: <br /> <br />(1) New construction and additions to one-and two-family buildings: <br /> <br /> (a) Under two thousand (2,000) square <br /> feet. ............................................. $ 25.00 <br /> <br /> (b) Over two thousand (2,000) square <br /> feet .............................................. 40.00 <br /> <br />(2) All other structures: <br /> <br /> (a) 0 to 2,499 square feet .................... 40.00 <br /> <br /> (b) 2,500 square feet to <br /> 4,999 square feet .......................... 80.00 <br /> <br /> (c) 5,000 square feet to <br /> 9,999 ........................................... 120.00 <br /> <br /> (d) 10,000 square feet to 74,999 .......... 140.00 <br /> <br /> (e) 75,000 and up ............................... 200.00 <br /> <br />(3) Existing structures when altered and area of the building contains 3,000 square <br />feet or more, or, exceeds 2 1/2 stories in height....., 50.00 <br /> <br />Sec. 7-105. Appeal fee. <br /> <br /> A fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each appeal made to any division of <br />the department of building inspections pursuant to the building code shall be paid by the <br />appellant to the City at the time application for the appeal is made. If the appeal is made <br />by a division of the department of building inspections, no appeal fee shall be due. <br /> <br />Sec. 7-105.1. Administrative fee. <br /> <br /> A fee of one hundred dollars ($100.00) shall be paid, in addition to any permit <br />fees, if work is begun without necessary permits or if occupancy of the building or <br />structure occurs prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy by the building official. <br /> <br />Sec. 7-131.
