REPORTS OF COMMITTEES Finance-- Referred November 23rd Recommendation of the N~ager ~hat he be authorized to pay Motorcycle Officer O. B. Dunn $49.50 for ten days lost from duty by reason of injuries received by him when he was forced to Jump from motorcycle when chasing an automobile, operated by Linwood T. Wilkins while under the influence of whmskey. " It is recommended that Mr. Ikznnbe paid $~9.50 for the time lost by him, out of appro- priation in the Budget for Sal.a~_ies, Police Department. Request of the School Board that an additio~l appropriation of $3,500.00 be allowed to $~500 cover the exp~nses of the schools for the Year 1926.' sp.&p it is recommended that a special appropriation of $3,500.00~be allowed for this pu~pose~ R~port of Local Board of'Equalization correcting assessments of land, timber, lots, build- inks, improvement or machinery and fixtures assessed by Assessors of Lands in the City of Ports- ~ mouth, Va., in the Year 1925. ~ It is recommended that a special appropriation of $1306.00 be allowed to make the $~306 following refunds,- as recommended by the City Collector; we report "Progress" on reliefs: sp.ap J.
