Robert Gray, James W. Holley, Edward L. Oast, Jr., <br />Robert T. Williams, City Manager, Gordon B. Tayloe, Jr., City Attorney. <br /> <br />Absent: Richard J. Davis, Jack P. Barnes, Archie Elliott, <br />Vice Mayor Holley presided in the absence of Mayor Davis. <br />79-1 The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chamber, <br />at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 1979, to consider a motion to hold an executive session <br />for the purpose of discussing the following: <br /> <br />(A) USE OF PUBLIC PROPERTY <br /> <br />(1) Waterfront <br />(2) Seaboard Coast Line Railroad <br /> Right-of-Way <br />(3) Purchase of Property in <br /> in Pinners Point <br />(4) Coast Guard Base <br />(5) West Norfolk Bridge <br /> <br />(B) LEGAl MATTERS <br /> <br />(1) Pending Litigation <br /> <br />(C) PERSONNEl <br /> <br />(1) A Personnel Matter <br /> <br />(D) BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br /> (1) Board of Examination of Plumbers <br /> (2) Housing Board of Adjustments g <br /> Appeals <br /> (3) Juvenile & Domestic Relations <br /> Cour%Advisory Council <br /> (4) Industrial Development Authority <br /> (5) Library Board <br /> (6) Mental Health/Mental Retardation <br /> Services Board <br /> (7) Museum g Fine Arts Commission <br /> (8) Planning Commission <br />(9) Port & Industrial Commission <br />(10) Supplemental Retirement Board <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor.' <br /> <br /> Mot~6n of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. Oast, the call for <br />amended to include under ~ LEGAL MATTERS (2) Software Contract, <br />and by the following vote: <br /> <br />the executive session to be <br />and was adopted Rs amended, <br /> <br />Ayes: Early, Gray, Holley, Oast <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />Vice Mayor <br /> <br />* -Councitmen-Barn, eg and Elliott were presentffor the executive session. <br /> <br /> <br />
