Motion of Mr. Oast and designated Board/Commission, and was adopted by unanimous seconded by Mr. Gray, that the above there being no £urther nominations, vote. members be elected to the nominatimns were closed, 79-182 - On motion of Mr. Oast and seconded by Mr. Barnes, the following resolution was adopted, and by the following vote: '~A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE STATE WATER CONTROL FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT THE PINNERS POINT TREATMENT APPROVED FUNDING PRIORITY LIST. BOARD rO RESTORE THE FUNDING PLANT AS PROVIDED IN THE 1979-83 WFIEREAS, the existing sewage treatment plant at Pinners Point was placed in service in 1949 and is now obsolete; and WHEREAS, further delay of funding by the State Water Control Board necessitates further capital expense to comply with current criteria; and WHEREAS, the project is now ready for construction; and WHEREAS, the increased cost caused by delay cannot be spread upon other citizens because of future growth, in that, the City of Portsmouth's population has little growth potential.
