August 13, 1979 "ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z 79-13' (d) Use Permit 79-1D Petition of George T. McLean Company, Inc., by John R. Sayage, Minister. John R. Savage, Minister, 1000 Basie Crescent, spoke for th.e petition. Motion of Mr. Oast and seconded by Mr. Beamer, to concur in the recommendation of the Planning Commission, subject to the public improvement requirements by the City Code, and UP Y9~10 to be approved on first reading, and was adopte~ by unanimous vote. (e) Zoning Petition Z 79-14 - Application by the Planning Commission by Director J. Brewer Moore. Motion of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. Gray, to concur in the recommendations of the Planning Commission, subject to the elimination o£ the school, and comments from the School Board Administration to be presented at a later date, the following ordinance was approved on first reading, and by unanimous vote: "ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z 79-14" (f) PHD 79-1 - TRUXTUN HISTORIC DISTRIET 1918 (Section 40-93) Motion of Mr. Early and seconded by Mr. Barnes, that PHD 79-1 to be approved on first reading, designating Truxtun as a Historic District, and was adopted by unanimous vo~e. (g) PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION AND COMMISSICNOF ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW.CSections 40-96 ~ 40-102) Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. Barnes, Planning Commission, the amendment to the ordinance unanimous vote. to concur in the recommendation of the to be approved on first reading, and by (h) CP-79-1 TRUXTUK NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN - A forty page published document issued ~y the Office of City Planning. Document will serve as a set of planning guidelines for use by local residents, municipal official, agents of this commonwealth and various federal officials.
