314 <br /> <br />October 23~ 1979 <br /> <br /> 79-Z97 Mr. Elmo Lawrence, 2519 Des Moines Avenue, spoke regarding "no parking signs" <br />across from his business and affecting five other businesses, and presented pictures showing <br />the accumulation of trash and debris in the area; requesting that the signs be removed. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Gray, that the matter to be referred to the City <br />Manager, to check if the hedgerow is located on the owner's property; also, the matter to be <br />discussed with the Clean Community Commission and a report to be furnished at the next meeting: <br />and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 79-398 Vice Mayor Holley offered the following nominations for appointments to the <br />following Boards/Commissions: <br /> <br />Emergency Medical Services Commission <br /> <br /> Dr. Gregory ~dinger, William A. Adams to be <br />July 31, 1992, replacing Dr. Robert Byrne and C. <br />as an E×-Officio member, representing the City. <br /> <br />appointed for a term of three years, ending <br />Robert Peery; J. H. Simpson to be appointed <br /> <br /> Board of Appeals <br /> <br /> Harry R. Simpson to be appcinte~ <br />replacing William T. Armistead. <br /> <br />for a term of four years, expiring September 1, 1980, <br /> <br />Museum& Fine Arts Commission <br /> <br /> Ms. JerleneD. Harding and Mrs. Doris <br />expiring November 1, 1982. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Beamer and seconded by <br />further nominations, the above members to <br />was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />P.
