330 <br /> <br />November 20~ 1979 <br /> <br /> Based on your concurrence, we will proceed to include these areas as part of the overall <br />curb and gutters program and update our curb and gutter maps by adding the isolated areas <br />to the priorities that h~ve been recommended, and so indicate by each of the priorities. <br /> <br /> Should you have any questions on the recommendations or any individual street, please do <br />not hesitate to contact me." <br /> <br /> Metion of ~r. Gray and seconded by Mr. Barnes, to endorse the inclusion of areas 1 through <br />13 into the curb and gutters priority list, as recommended, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 79-436 - "Consideration of a motion endorsing the priorities as set forth for legislation'~ <br />proposals to be submitted to the Hampton Roads Area Committee." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Gray, to agree with the priorities as set by the <br />City Manager, and was adopted by unanimous vote. (See Exhibit 79-436) I <br /> <br />- NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> 79-440 Councilman Oast offered the Following nominations £or appointments to the follow- <br />ing Boards/Commissions: <br /> <br />~mergency Medical Services Commission <br /> <br /> Mrs. Kay Cherry to be appointed for a term of three years, ending July 31, i98Z,replacing <br />B. W. Baker; Mrs. ~lla Poss to be reappointed for a three year term, ending July 31, 1982. <br /> <br />PRHA <br /> <br /> J. D. Topping, Jr. to be appointed for a four year term, ending September 1, 1985, replaci <br />Dr. E. A. Barham, Jr. <br /> <br />Museum & Fine Arts Commission <br /> <br /> Mrs. Jean E. Farr to be appointed for a term of three years, ending November 1, 1982, re- <br />placing John P. C. Hanbury. <br /> <br />Tidewater Virginia Development Council (Trustees-at-large) <br /> <br /> Herbert K. Bangel and Richard F. Wood, Sr. to be reappointed for one year, term expiring <br />December 51, 1980. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by <br />further nominations, the above members <br />was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />Mr. Beamer, to close nominations, and there being no <br />to be elected to the designated Board/Commission, and <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Oast and seconded by Mr. Gray, directing the City Manager to write to the <br />FOP for a recommendation to Council ~n reference to a member of the Retirement Board, repre- <br />senting the Fire & Police, for a recommendation of at least three (3) names for the purpose <br />of consideration by the Council, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br /> Fice Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
