September 9, 1980 <br /> <br />Commissions: <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Barne§ and seconded by Mr. Gray, the matter to be referred to the City <br />Manager' and a report be furnished at the next meeting, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> 80-343 - The folloN.ing report was submitted by Margaret E. Jones, City Treasurer: <br /> "Attached please find list of Delinquent Real EState Taxes for the Fiscal Year 1979-80. <br /> This is furnished~in accordance with the City Code, and the total of said list from the <br />last date of collections in this office August 7, 1980 is: <br /> $ 473,575.05 <br /> <br /> The original of this list has been turned over to Mr. E,· K. Rabey III, Delinquent Tax <br />Coilecto'r aAd a copy to Mr. Roy Cherry, Director of Finance. <br /> A separate list of collections from the eight day of August through this date, August 22n <br />while the Delinquent List was being prepared, with the money and checks, have also been turned <br />over to Mr. Rabey. The amount collected since August 7, 1980 through August 21, 1980 is <br />$4,529.35." <br /> . Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. Webb, to be referred to the Delinquent Tax <br /> Collector for collection, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> 80~344 - Vice Mayor Beamer offered the following nominations for appointments to Boards/ <br /> <br /> Board of Architectural Review <br /> <br /> Forrest E. Long to fill an unexpired term, <br />who resigned. <br /> <br />ending May 1, 1984, <br /> <br />replacing Elizabeth Kneas, <br /> <br />Redevelopment & Housing Authority <br /> <br />William H. Oast, III to be reappointed for a <br /> <br />term of four years, ending September 1, 1984 <br /> <br />Regional Group Home Board <br />Garland R. Culpepper to be reappointed for a term of four years, ending August 1, 1984. <br /> <br />SEVAMP (Board of Directors) <br /> <br /> M~s.. She.rwood Schnitzer to be <br />1984. <br /> <br />reappointed [or a term of Four years, ending September 23, <br /> <br />no <br />and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Supplemental Retirement Board <br /> Herbert R.
