December 8~ 1980 <br /> <br />(1) Use Permit UP 80-16 Petition of William Lee Goldsticher, by Pastor Jesse A. <br /> DeBraux, Sr. <br /> <br />Pastor Jesse A. DeBraux, 713 King Arthur Drive, Chesapeake, spoke for the petition. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Beamer and seconded by Mr. Gray, to concur in the recommendation of <br />the Planning Commission, UP 80-16 was approved on first reading, and by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />(m) Use Permit UP 80.~17-Petition of Eva N. Foggie, by Bishop Otis Nixon. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Oast and seconded by Mr. Gray, to concur in the recommendation of <br />the Planning Commission, UP 80-17 was approved on first reading, and by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />(n) PEACHTREE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, PUD-72-1, LAND USE CHANGE. <br /> <br /> Jim Bickford, P. O. Box 6358, Portsmouth, Builder who sponsored the petition initially <br />and i~troduced Ben Levy, Owner of the property. <br /> <br /> Mr. Levy spoke concerning the change of PUD-72-1, substituting residential for <br />commercial. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bickford spoke on his knowledge of building houses in the Churchland area and the <br />townhouses to be built would be compatible of the homes in the area~ <br /> <br /> Bob Stell, 3717 Red Barn Road, President of West Churchland Civic League, spoke in <br />opposition of the land use change and that the West Churchland Civic League was in agreement <br />with the Planning Commission's decision.
