<br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Gray, minutes of the called meeting of June 23,
<br />1981; minutes of the regular meeting of June 23, 1981; and minutes of the called meeting of
<br />June 30, 1981, to be approved as received, and was adopted by unanimous vo~e.
<br /> 81-234 - Mayor Johansen presented Certificates of Appreciation to Helen V. Davis, former
<br />member of the Manpower Development & Employment Commission; Charles B. Whitehurst, former
<br />member of the School Board; and Eugene E. Wright, former member of the Parks and Recreation
<br />Commission.
<br />
<br /> 81-235 Mayor Johansen, presented to Roy W. Cherry, Director of Finance, an Award of
<br />Financial Reporting Achievement for recognition in governmental accounting and financial
<br />reporting by the Municipal Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.

<br /> PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE 1981-82 STREET OVERLAY PROGRAM."
