<br /> Adwig Corporation has made application to vacate and close a portion of Armstrong
<br />Street between High Street and the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad. This resolution appoints
<br />viewers to view the street and report back to Counail their findings as to whether any
<br />inconvenience would result from closure. The City Manager recommends that viewers be appoint~,"

<br /> WHEREAS, Adwig Corporation, by its attorney, H. Lee Addison, III, has made application
<br />to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described portion of Armstrong Street,
<br />and it appearing that Notice of Application and Request for the Appointment of Viewers was
<br />duly posted oF November 2, 1981, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the Cit~ of
<br />Portsmouth, the General District Court of the City of Portsmouth and the City Hall Build-
<br />ing of ~he City of Portsmouth.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia,
<br />that A. N. Kendrick, Simon P. Harrington, Richard D. Ottavio, James V. McGhee and Raymond
<br />Tweed be appointed viewers and that Howard L. Davis and George N. Powers, Sr. be appointed
<br />alternate viewers in the event one of the preceding viewers fails to participate, said
<br />viewers to view the hereinafter-described portions of said street and to report to this Council

<br />ON FUEL OIL FOR DOMESTIC CONSUMPTION BE THE LOCATION OF THE ACTUAl SALE AND USE,
<br />WHICH IS tHE POINT OF ACCEPTANCE OF THE ~ERCHANDISE FOR USE.
