April 12, 1982 <br /> <br /> Motion of Mrs. Webb and seconded by Mr. Whitlow, to concur in the recommendation of the <br />Planning Commission, UP 82-9 be approved on first reading for hospital storage on land zoned <br />Commercial C-2, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />(i) GHP 82-1 - Application of Kirk Berkeley, Agent for Olde Towne Land Trust, Contract <br /> Owner. <br /> <br /> Kirk Berkeley, ~5 Middle Street~ ,representing Olde Towne Land Trust, spoke in support <br />of GHP 82-1. <br /> <br /> Leslie R. French, III, 208 Glasgow Street, representing Olde To,me Eivic League, spoke <br />in support of the development. <br /> <br /> Miss Ellen Lash, 321 Court Street, citizen, spoke in opposition to the group housing <br />project as to the affect on the homes in the area. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Thomas M. Williams, 315 Court Street, citizen~ spoke in opposition and also stated <br />the affect.it would have on the homes. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Whitlow and seconded by,Mrs. Webb, to concur in the recommendation of the <br />Planning Commission, that GHP 82-1 be approved on first reading for group housing project for <br />30 residential townhouse condominium units on 1.82 acres of land, and was adopted by unani- <br />mons vote. <br /> <br /> 82-121 - Motion of Mr. Whitlow and seconded by Mr. Gray, to go into an executive session <br />for the purpose of discussing the following, and was adopted by unanimous vote: <br /> <br />(A) USE OF PUBLIC PROPERTY <br /> <br />(1) Use of Property <br />(2) Acquisition and Sale of Property <br />(3) Waterfront Development <br /> <br />(B) LEGAL MATTERS <br /> <br />(1) Contracts <br />(2) Litigation <br />(3) Legal Consultation <br /> <br />(C) PERSONNEL <br /> <br />(1) A Personnel Matter <br /> <br />(D) BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />(1) Commission of Architectural Review <br />(2) Eastern Virginia Medical Authority <br />(3) Health Systems Agency -Consumer Category <br />(4) Library Board <br />(5) Parks & Recreation Commission <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned. <br />APPROVED - <br /> <br /> Vice Mapor <br /> <br />~City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
