105 June 22, 1982 3. This use permit is approved subject to the following conditions: (a) The property shall be used for a facility for cutting, slicing, grinding, processing and packaging of meats, wholesale distribution and retail sales on the premises. (b) The applicant shall meet the requirements for the meat processing plant as set forth by the Department of Federal Meat and Poultry Inspection of the U. S. Department of AgricUlture and shall meet all requirements and regulations of the Department of Health of the City of Portsmouth for such activity. (c) The applicant shall submit to the Planning Department of the City of Portsmouth a site plan, including landscape improvements, and structural plans indicating proposed elevations of the structure, prior to obtaining a building permit. (~d) The applicant shall obtain the required building permits within one (1) year from the date of the approval of this application. (e) An occupancy permit shall be issued only after the applicant has completed the site plan, including landscaping plans and structural plans for ~mprovements on the property, including elevations, in addition to the other improvements for which the building permit was obtained. Savage, Minister, made an application pursuant to Section 40-71(b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter-described; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to be done in connection with said application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the granting of said use permit. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter-described is sought: (a) Will not adversely affect the health and safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use; (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or injurious to the property or improvements in the neighborhood; and (c) Will be in accordance with the purposes of the Zoning Chapter of the City Code. 2.
