2O2 November 9, 1982 "LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 15.1-199, Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended that the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, adopted on November 9, 1982, resolutions authorizing the issuance of $22,000,000 principal amount of General Obligation Public Improve- ment Bonds and $8~000,000 principal amount of General Obligation Public Utility Bonds of the City and caused certified copies of such resolutions to be filed in the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth on The proceeds of sale of the General Obligation Bonds shall be applied to the payment of the costs of the following public jmprovement~;projects in substantially the following respective amounts: Community Services Education Parks and Recreation Public S~fety Urban Transportation Drainage, Curbs, Gutters and Street Improvements Urban Renewal Construction Crawford Harbor Waterfront Improvements: Harbor Street Parking Garage Contribution for Urban Renewal Project Street Improvements Purchase of Former Coast Cuard Ease Bulkhead Extension Other Total $2,100,000 1,200,000 1,100,000 1,000,000 3,500,000 1,400,000 1,600,000 $5,371,543 1,927,000 1,166,000 690,000 50O,OOO 445,457 $22,000,000 provided that if any project set forth sahll require less than the entire respective amount set forth above, the difference may be applied to any other Froject set forth above. The proceeds of sale of the Public Utility Bonds shall be applied to the payment of the costs of capital improvements, extensions and additions to said City's revenue-producing water and sewerage system." 12. Ail other resolutions, ordinances or orders or parts thereof in conflict with the provisicns of this resolution are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed. 13.
