such as NASA show the confidence in American teenagers that owners of present ideas have. Thi~
confidence gives the teenager a feeling of self-esteem and subsequent self-worth. This feelin~
of self-esteem is carried over to the period when a future idealist becomes a present idealist~

Students in the Soviet Union and other Eastern block nations can channel their energies
into only the things that the state feels they should undertake. This will cause a stagnation
of future~ideas and present ideas are equivalent to ideas and ideals from the past. This
stagnation of ideas is directly related to stagnation in~publin interests and a rise in publi~
hatred for government. A prime example of this is the uprisings in Poland related to the
Solidarity Union. The suppression of this idea by the Soviets has caused a stagnation of life
in Poland. The bottom line is what effect will this have on the future idealists of Poland?

It is easily seen how the three groups of ideas relate to each other and how they are all
in motion toward the future. This means that harbingers of future ideas will in later years
on to hold past ideas and their offsprings offspring will be teenagers, holders of future idea~
the strength of America."
