<br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director h'ave dohe all things required' to be
<br />done in connection with said application; and

<br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the granting of said use permit.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia:

<br /> 1. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter-described is sought:
<br />
<br /> (a) Will not as a ~temporary use for a period not to exceed eighteen (18) months

<br />in accordance with the purposes of the Zoning Chapter of the City Code.

<br /> 2. Reverend Leroy Daniels, Jr. is hereby granted a use permit pursuant to §40-72 (b)
<br />of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia to operate a church and place of worship
<br />to be known as Gilead Baptist Church at 610 Green Street, being more particularly described
<br />as Tax Map 25, Parcel 32 (UP-83-5).

<br /> (a) The applicant will comply with all codes,
<br />Commercial C-3 Zoning District requirements relating to
<br />houses of worship.
<br />
<br /> (b) Attendance shall be limited to eighty (80)
