<br />was approved on first reading, and by unanimous vote.

<br />of Churchland High School, and expressed the Council's appreciation of attending the meeting.

<br />(d) CA 83-18 - A proposed amendment to Chapter 40 of the City Code by adding thereto a
<br /> new zoning category to be known as Preservation P-1.

<br /> Motion of Mr. Beamer and seconded by Mr. Gray, concur in the recommendation of the
<br />Planning Commission.

<br /> Motion of Mrs, Webb and seconded~by Mr. Gray, to amend CA 83-18 that no building should
<br />b~ more than 36', and was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />approved on first reading, and by unanimous vote.

<br />(i) CA 83-16 - A proposal to amend Section 40-48(3) pertaining to construction require-
<br /> ments for improvements of parking lots.

<br /> William Dorow, 3415 County Street, spoke in opposition to the ordinance as he was con-
<br />cerned on the cost of paving lots for the small business man which could cause a hardship.
