<br />At a called meeting of the City Council held on Monday, May 7, 1984, there were present:

<br />J. E. Johansen, Jack P. Barnes, Ben A. Beamer,
<br />Holley, III, Gloria O. Webb, Morton V. Whitlow,
<br />Steven Lieberman, City Attorney.

<br />Sr., J. Robert Gray, James W.
<br /> George L. Hanbury, City Manager,
<br />
<br />84-149 - The following call for the meeting was read:
<br />
<br /> "Please attend a called meeting of the Eity Council to be held in the Council Chamber, 6t
<br />floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, at 12:00 noon on Monday, May 7, 1984, for the purpose
<br />to hold an executive session to discuss personnel matters.
<br />
<br /> Also, a called meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 1984, at 5:00 p.m. for the con-
<br />sideration of a motion to go into an executive session to discuss the following: ~'
<br />
<br />(1) Use, Sale, or Acquisition of
<br /> Public Property
<br />(2) Consultation and Briefing on
<br /> Legal Matters including
<br /> Contracts and Litigation
<br /> (3) A Personnel Matter
<br />(4) Boards and Commissions
<br />
<br /> By order of the Mayor."
<br />
<br /> Motion of Mr. Whitlow and seconded by Mr. Gray, to go into an executive session,
<br />adopted by unanimous vote.
<br />
<br /> At 2:30 the public work session on the budget was convened.
<br />
<br /> Motion by Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Beamer to recess the public work
<br />4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 1984, and was adopted by unanimous vote.
<br />
<br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. WhLtlow to go into
<br />cuss Personnel Matters, and was adopted by unanimous vote.
<br />
<br /> On motion the meeting recessed.
