August 28, 1984 <br /> <br /> 84-31- Lawrence <br />of Portsmouth, inquired as <br />Enlighteners of Portsmouth. <br /> <br />Singleton, 3 Alton Circle, Chesapeake, VA, representing <br /> to the~a~.~ for the denial of a bingo-raffle permit <br /> <br /> Motion of Mrs. Lucas and seconded by Mrs. Webb, that the ma~er be referred <br />City Manager and legal staff for additional~41ar~ty-~6r the denial of the permit, <br />report be furnished at the next meeting, was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 84-518 Mrs. Rosalind Gordon, 3902 High Street, spoke regarding matters of <br />including forums and street improvements. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seccnded by Mr. Whitlow, that <br />City Manager, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 84-319 Mrs. Mabel Raymer, 1008 4th Street, spoke <br />of her property in Southside. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Beamer and seconded by Mrs. Webb, Mrs. <br />5 minutes, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 84-320 - The City Manager introduced Dr. R. Dale <br /> <br />Enlighteners <br />for the <br /> <br /> to the <br /> and a <br /> <br /> the matters be referred to the <br /> concerning PRHA's condemnation <br /> <br />Raymer was granted an additional <br />Hunsaker, new Director of Public Health <br /> <br />tO <br /> <br /> 84-~21 Motion of Mr. 3ray and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, <br />discuss the following, and was adopted by unanimous vote: <br /> <br />(1) Use, Sale, or Acquisition of <br /> Public Property <br />(2) Consultation and Briefing on <br /> Legal Matters including <br /> Contracts and Litigation <br /> (31 A Personnel Matter <br />(41 Boards and Commissions <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned. <br /> <br />%PPROVBD -f <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />to go into an executive session <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
