<br /> 640-55 OF THE CODE OF THE CI'TY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1975, SAID PROJECT
<br /> CONSISTING OF 24 rOWNHOUSE-STYLED CONDOMINIUMS ON THE WEST SIDE OF GREEN
<br /> STREET BETWEEN NORTH STREET AND FIREHOUSE LANE AND DESIGNATED AS GHP-84-23.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, J. Michael Sasser has made application pursuant to ~40-55 of the Code of the
<br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, for the granting and approval of a group housing project
<br />consisting of twenty-four (24) townhouse-styled condominiums on a .85 acre parcel located
<br />on the west side of Green Street between North Street and Firehouse Lane; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the application has been determined by the Planning Commission to have met
<br />the requirements of 340-55 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed such application and site plan submitted
<br />therewith and has recommended conditional approval of said application; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS,~ the developer has been informed that approval of a group housing project
<br />pursuant to 640-55 grants only an exemption from certain requirements for residences as
<br />stated in said section and does not constitute a waiver of any other requirement embodied
<br />in the Subdivision Ordinance, Zoning Ordinance, Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia,
<br />or any other applicable local, state or federal law or regulation; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the developer is aware that building permits or
<br />will be issued only upon compliance with the ordinances, laws
<br />thereto.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia,
<br />that the certain group housing project consisting of twenty-four (24) townhouse-styled
<br />condominiums to be constructed on a .85 acre parcel on the west side of Green Street between
<br />North Street and Firehouse Lane, and designated as GHP-84-23, and more specifically described
<br />in correspondence from J. Michael Sasser, President, J. M. Sasser Co., Inc., dated October
<br />9, 1984 and shown on plans filed with the appropriate officials of the City of Portsmouth,
<br />Virginia, such being made a part hereof, is hereby granted approval subject to the following
<br />terms and conditions:
