<br />and T. H. Nicholson, et als, requested additional time to speak.
<br />
<br /> Motion of Mr. Beamer and seconded by Mr. Whitlow, that Mr. Barney be granted 10 minutes
<br />to speak on Items Z 85-30 and GHP 85-21, and was adopted by unanimous vote.
<br />
<br />Mr. Barney spoke in support of both applications.

<br />Associates, responded to questions presented.

<br /> (a) Motion of Mrs. Webb and seconded by Mr. Beamer, to concur in the recommendation
<br />of the Planning Commission, to rezone for multi-family development at the southwest corner
<br />of Chowan Drive and Cherokee Road, from Commercial C-2 to Rgsidential R-60, the following
<br />ordinance was approved on first reading, and was adopted by unanimous vote:

<br />Motion.of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Webb, to move for approval.
<br />
<br /> Substitute motion of Mrs. Lucas and seconded by Mr. Whitlow, to defer GHP 85~22 to
<br />August 13, 1985, and was adopted by unanimous vote.
