April 25, 2000 <br /> <br />- City Manager's Report - <br /> <br />00 - 94 - Adoption of the following ordinances recommending the proposed operating <br />budget for fiscal year ending June 30, 2001. <br /> <br /> a. Adoption of an ordinance to re-establish the tax rates on real estate, tangible <br />personal property, privately owned pleasure boats, privately owned camping trailers and <br />motor homes and machinery and tools. <br /> <br /> b. Adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 38 of the Code of the city of <br />Portsmouth pertaining to water service charges and sewage disposal charges into the <br />City sewer system. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 16 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth pertaining to refuse collection fees. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 35 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth pertaining to E-911 telephone service tax. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of an <br />Portsmouth pertaining to <br />general Services. <br /> <br />ordinance to amend chapter 25 of the Code of the City of <br />fees charged by the Department of Parks, recreation and <br /> <br /> f. Adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 19 of the Code of the city of <br />Portsmouth pertaining to fees charged at the Public Law Library. <br /> <br /> g. Adoption of an ordinance to amend Chapter 30 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth pertaining to funding of cost of living increases for the Portsmouth <br />Retirement System. <br /> <br /> h. Adoption of an ordinance adopting the 2000-2001 Classification and Pay Plan <br />for employees of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> i.
