Robert Gray, L. Louise Lucas, Gloria O. Webb, Morton V. <br />~itlow, George L. Hanbury, City ~anager, Steven Lieberman, City Attorney. <br /> <br />Absent: Ben A. Beamer, Sr., ~. G. Corprew, Jr. <br /> <br />85-386 - The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chamber, <br />6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, at 4:30 p.m; on Tuesday, December 10, 1985, for <br />a public work session for the purpose to Consider an appeal from the Commission of Architec~ <br />rural Review and for the consideration of motion to go into an executives~e~s~[~on to discuss the <br />following: <br /> <br />(1) Use, Sale, or Acquisition of <br /> Public Property <br />(2) Consultation and Briefing on <br /> Legal Matters including <br /> Contracts and Litigation <br /> A Personnel Matter <br />(4) Boards and Commissions <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mrs. Lucas and seconded by Mr. Gray, to go into an executive session, and was <br />adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br />Nays: <br /> <br />Gray, Lucas, ~ebb, Whitlow, Holley <br />None <br /> <br /> A public work session was held for an appeal from the CAR-Port Norfolk/Park View on the <br />Port Norfolk Baptist Church. <br /> <br />Lizabeth Coker, Secretary to CAR, made a presentation. <br /> <br />Attorney Rick Stephenson, represent~d~Port Norf6tk Baptigt Chureh. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Webb, that the matter be deferred to the meeting <br />of January 14, 1986, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned. <br /> Mayor ~J <br /> <br />~City Clerk ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
