February 11, 2020 <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br /> The City of Portsmouth and the City of Suffolk have traditionally worked <br />cooperatively in granting each other (and the utility companies working with each) the <br />land rights necessary for efficient operation of their respective water and sewer <br />operations. <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br /> <br /> <br /> There is no financial impact. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br /> <br /> Adoption of the resolution. <br /> <br />Next Steps Following Council Action: <br /> <br /> The City Manager will execute and deliver any required easement documents. <br /> <br />Motion by Ms. Psimas, and seconded by Mr. Clark, to adopt the following <br />resolution, and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />“RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF A UTILITY EASEMENT TO THE <br />VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY HAVING A WIDTH OF 15 FEET <br />ACROSS CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE HOLY NECK BOROUGH OF <br />SUFFOLK.” <br /> <br />Ayes: Battle, Clark, Glover, Lucas-Burke, Moody, Psimas, Rowe <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />- New Business - <br /> <br />20 - 63 - Boards and Commissions <br /> <br />There were no appointments. <br /> <br />20 - 64 - Items Submitted by Council Members <br /> <br /> Ms. Psimas spoke on the following” <br /> <br /> <br />-Community Meeting, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at I.
