Ail claims would be processed <br />through the office of the City Attorney in a manner similar to the <br />procedure currently used for claims against the City. In addition, <br />the ordinance revises 92-19 of the City Code which pertains to the <br />City Risk Management and Insurance Fund and retitles same for <br />fication purposes as the "Portsmouth Risk Management and In;urance <br />Fund" to assure consistency with our current practices. I recommend adoption of the resolution to appoint viewers. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Webb, the following <br />~esol~tion was adopted, and by the following vote: <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING OF PORTIONS <br />OF THE FOLLOWING STREETS: ESSEX STREET; THIRD STREE?; <br />RANDOLPH STREEt; ORVILLE STREET: GORDON STREET AND HENRY <br />STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment & Housing Authority has made <br />tpplicati~n to vacate, close and d2scontinue the hereinafter-d <br />ed portions of certain streets, and it appearing that nctice of <br />application and request for the appointment of viewers has been dul, <br />advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that Richard D. Ottavio, Albert J. Carr, <br />Howard L. Davis, George N. Powers, Sr., and C. L.
