November 25, 1986 Brighton Street and Seventh Street Beginning at a point at the northwest corner of the i~tersection of Brighton Street and Seventh Street and from said point of beginning thence westerly along the northern right-of-way line of Brighton Street a distance of 259 feet to a point; thence in a southerly direction along a line parallel to the western right- of-way line of Seventh Street a distance of 1.0 feet to a point; thence south 89° 34' 03'! east a distance of 265.1 feet to a point; thence in a northerly direct? ion along a line of Seventh Street a distance of 216.50 feet to a point' thence north 239o t' 55" west a distance of 15.23 feet to a point on the said western right-of-Way line of Seventh Street; thence in a southerly directio~ along the western right~of-way line of Seventh Street a distance of 227.5 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning situate at the northwest corner of the intersection of Brighton Street and Seventh Street." The notice application and request for appointment of viewers has beeniduly advertised as required by law. I recommend adoption of the!resolu- tion to appoint viewers pursuant to this application." On motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Webb, the following resolution was adopted, and by the following vote: "A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING OF A PORTION OF HARTFORD STREET. WHEREAS, Vance P. Pittman and Betty L. Pittman have made zation to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-desCribed ~ortion of Hartford Street; and it appearing that notice oflapplica-I lion and request for appointment of viewers has been duly a~ve~tised[! ~s required by law. NOW, THEReFORe, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the C%ty of ?ortsmouth, Virginia, that Richard D. Ottavio, James Moss, Clinton I. Fortune, Matthew L. Peanort and L. A.
