125 December 9, 1986 At a called meeting of the City Council held on Tuesday, _ December 9, 1986, there were present: James W. Hollsy, III, Jack P. Barnes, J. Robert Gray, L. Louise Lucas, J. Herbert Simpson, Gloria O. Webb, George L. Hanbury, City Manager, Steven Lieberman, City Attorney. Absent: E. G. Corprew, Jr. 86-445 The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 1986, for the purpose Of a >ublic work session on the Monitor-Merrimack and D-I~D-2 Parking. In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an executive ;ession. By the order of the Mayor." Motion of Mrs. Lucas and seconded by Mr. Gray, to go into an executive session in accordance with Section 2.1-34l of the Code of Virginia to discuss the following: 1. The condition, acquisition and use of real property for 3ublic purposes as permitted under subsection ~a) (2); 2. The disposition of publicly held property as permitted .rider subsection (a) (2); 3. Consultation with City Attorney and briefing by staff members pertaining to actual or potential litigation or other legal matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council as permitted under subsection .(a) ~6); 4. Consideration of appointments by the City Council as per- mitted under subsection (a) (]). On motion was adopted by unanimous vote.
