January 13, 1987 <br /> <br /> Motion of Mrs. Webb and seconded by Mr. Gray, that authorisatio <br />~e granted to transfer $46,000 from the Grants Contigency Fund, as <br /> ~ested, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />NEW'BUSINESS <br /> <br /> 87-21 Councilman Simpson offered the following nominations <br />for appointments to the following Boards/Commissions: <br /> <br />Long Term Care Coor.dinating Committee <br /> <br /> Kathy Drumwright to be reappointed for a term of three years, <br />ending December 1, 1989; Sheila M. Carsten, replacing Challis Ho <br />L. David Lindauer, replacing T. W. Manning; John Bailey, replacing <br />James Staten, to be appointed for terms of three years, ending <br /> ecember 1, 1989. <br /> <br /> Transportation Safety Commission <br /> <br /> Roy W. Ward to be appointed for an unexpired <br />ovember i, 1987, replacing Paul M. Johnson. <br /> <br />term, ending <br /> <br />Small Busines, s <br /> <br /> Development <br /> <br /> David G. Todd <br />Jr. (No Term) <br /> <br /> Motion of Mrs. <br /> <br />Working Group <br />Program <br /> <br />to be appointed, 'replacing William T. <br /> <br />Webb and seconded by Mr. Gray, to close nomina- <br /> <br />tions, and there being no further nominations, the above members we~ <br /> ted to the designated BoardZCommission, and was adopted by <br /> mimous vote. <br /> <br /> 87-22 Cameron Pitts, 4816 Mallard Crescent, representing <br /> ~ers Pcint Civic League, requested for the service roa4~to be <br /> tended for the Western Freeway and relocation of the railroad <br /> acks to the middle of the Western Freeway; also that a resolution <br /> presented to the General Assembly Delega~i0n for suoport~on this <br /> (See Exhibit 87-22) <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Webb, that a ~ <br /> prepared, as requested, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />87-23 Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. SimFson, that <br />a proclamation be prepared, honoring Boys Scout Week, and to be pre- <br /> ented at the Council meeting of February 10, 1987, and was adopted <br /> unanimous vote. <br /> <br />On motion the meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m. <br />APPROVED -~ <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
