January 13, 1987 Motion of Mrs. Webb and seconded by Mr. Gray, that authorisatio ~e granted to transfer $46,000 from the Grants Contigency Fund, as ~ested, and was adopted by unanimous vote. NEW'BUSINESS 87-21 Councilman Simpson offered the following nominations for appointments to the following Boards/Commissions: Long Term Care Coor.dinating Committee Kathy Drumwright to be reappointed for a term of three years, ending December 1, 1989; Sheila M. Carsten, replacing Challis Ho L. David Lindauer, replacing T. W. Manning; John Bailey, replacing James Staten, to be appointed for terms of three years, ending ecember 1, 1989. Transportation Safety Commission Roy W. Ward to be appointed for an unexpired ovember i, 1987, replacing Paul M. Johnson. term, ending Small Busines, s Development David G. Todd Jr. (No Term) Motion of Mrs. Working Group Program to be appointed, 'replacing William T. Webb and seconded by Mr. Gray, to close nomina- tions, and there being no further nominations, the above members we~ ted to the designated BoardZCommission, and was adopted by mimous vote. 87-22 Cameron Pitts, 4816 Mallard Crescent, representing ~ers Pcint Civic League, requested for the service roa4~to be tended for the Western Freeway and relocation of the railroad acks to the middle of the Western Freeway; also that a resolution presented to the General Assembly Delega~i0n for suoport~on this (See Exhibit 87-22) Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Webb, that a ~ prepared, as requested, and was adopted by unanimous vote. 87-23 Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. SimFson, that a proclamation be prepared, honoring Boys Scout Week, and to be pre- ented at the Council meeting of February 10, 1987, and was adopted unanimous vote.
