Suffimient. funds exist in the <br />CIP to fund these projects; therefore, I recommend approprmation oJ <br />the necessary funds and award of the contract to Warbler Construc- <br />tion.'' <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Simpson and seconded by Mr. Gray, the follow- <br />ing ordinance was approved on first reading; award of contract to <br />Warbler Construction, bein2-r~-sp~nsive ~ow b~dde , and was ad0pted <br />unanimous vote: <br /> <br /> "~tN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $157,000 FROM THE CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS ON THELMAR <br />~'LANE, HODGES FERRY ROAD, gND ALABAMA AVENUE." <br /> <br /> 87-67 Letter from the City Manager recommending adoption of <br />an ordinance to appropriate 225,000 from the Capital Improvement <br />Fund, $25,000 from the Public Utilities Cagital Improvement Fund, <br />and $25,000 from the Port Facilities and E~onomic Development Fund <br />for the purpose of paying the costs of bond issue expenses, and to <br />authorize the City Manager to enter into a contract with the finan- <br />cial advisor. <br /> <br /> "During the pas~ several weeks I have been participating with <br /> .he Municipal Finance Commission in the selection of a financial <br /> ~msor and underwriters to bring to market a package of refunding <br />advance funding and origlnal issuance bonds.
