220 <br />October 14, 2014 <br />- Mayor Wright spoke on the following events: <br />- Re-grand opening of Farm Fresh. <br />- Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1954 60th Anniversary of winning the <br />State Championship. <br />- Thanked Ed Brown for initiating civic engagement with regards to recreation in <br />the City <br />- Mr. Moody asked that a virtual tour of The Pines be posted online. <br />14 - 393 -Report on Pending Items <br />• Bernadette Hogge, Ombudsman, gave an update on items of concern presented by <br />citizens at the September 23, 2014 City Council Meeting. <br />14 - 394 -Non-Agenda Speakers <br />1. Linda Ridenour, 313 Tareyton Lane, spoke on the Virginia Partners for Out of School <br />Time (VPOST). <br />2. Ted Lamb, 301 Allen Road, spoke on the importance of being involved in the Parent <br />Teacher Association (PTA). <br />3. Bruce LaLonde, 168 Yorkshire Road, asked that the dormitories at The Pines be <br />used for housing the City's homeless community. <br />- Mr. Moody asked for an update on the 10 year Homeless Plan. <br />4. Tony Goodwin, 38 Linden Avenue, informed citizens and City Council of all the fall <br />events taking place in Olde Towne. <br />5. Clyde Toler, 1029 Blair Street, voiced his concern with various issues within the Clty. <br />6.
