April 8, 2014 <br />14 - 145 -Report on Pending Items <br />067 ` <br />• Bernadette Hogge, Ombudsman, gave an update on items of concern presented by <br />citizens at the March 25, 2014 City Council Meeting. <br />14 - 146 -Non-Agenda Speakers <br />1. Joe Wright, 1451 Welcome Road, asked that personal property/car tax relief be <br />extended to veterans who are 100% disabled. <br />2. Clyde Toler, 1029 Blair Street, asked that personal property/car tax relief be <br />extended to veterans who are 100% disabled. <br />3. Peter Youngblood, 535 Hampton Place, asked that there be continued funding for <br />the mounted patrol <br />4. Roderick Madison, 3734 Towne Point Road, reminded City Council and citizens that <br />April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. <br />5. Mark Geduldig-Yatrofsky, P. O. Box 50141, suggested that there be a General Fund <br />for the schools. <br />6. Kintrell Davis, 515 Water Lily Road, wanted to inform citizens of the Homework Help <br />service available to students within the City. <br />7. Antoinette Franklin, 2002 Lansing Avenue, spoke on the programs and services <br />provided by Behavioral Healthcare. <br />8. B. Jacquelyn Williams, 448 Dinwiddie Street, spoke in support of amulti-cultural <br />center in Truxton. <br />9. Elvira Johnson, 3313 Armstead Drive, spoke in support of amulti-cultural center in <br />Truxton. <br />10.
