Hargrave and Glen Yates, Jr., to be reappointed for <br />term of three years, ending May 1, 1990. <br /> <br />Motion of Mrs. Webb and seconded by Mr. Barnes, to close <br />nominations, and being no further nominations, the above members <br /> /ere elected to the designated Board/Commission, and was adopted by <br /> ~ni~ous vote. <br /> <br /> 87-184 - Motion of Mr. Simpson and seconded by Mr. Gray that <br />City Manager be directed to provide for an administrative check- <br />on all construction contracts to assure the protection of histor <br />~rtifacts found within construction projects on City property, and <br />vas adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 87-185 - Motion of Mrs. Lucas and seconded by Mr. Simpson, <br />;he citizens be given 10 additional minutes for presentation, and <br /> adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> Bill Watson, 200 Gee Street, representing Highland Biltmore _c <br />~eague, commended the C6uncil for position taken on School Board <br />issue, and requested that the City Manager look into returning the <br /> police officers to maintaining and flying helicopters <br />~nly. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Webb, that the matter <br />be deferred to the City Manager for investigation, and was adonted <br />~y unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 87-186 John T.
