281 April 28, 1987 At a called meeting of the City Council held on Tuesday, April 1987, there were present: James W. Holley, III, Jack P. Barnes, E. G. Corprew, Jr., J. Robert Gray, L. Louise Lucas, J. Herbert Simpson, Gloria O. Webb, George L. Hanbury, ~I~ ~ii~M~ag~r, Steven Lieberman, City Attorney. 87-163 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held .n the City Council/City Manager Conference Room, 6th flor of City ~all, 801 Crawford Street, at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 1987 for the purpose of a public work session on Historial Artifacts. In addition you may cons~c~r a motion to go into an executive session. By order of the Mayor." 87-163(a) aatters: A public work session was held on the following o Historical Artifacts o City Assessor/Biennial Real Property Tax Exemption Sheet/Application o Sign ordinance o No-U-Turn sign on Portsmouth Boulevard o HER Resolution for grant 87-163(b) Motion'~of Mrs. Webb and seconied by Mr, Barnes, to Fo into an executive session in accordance with Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia to discuss the following: 1. The consideration, acquisition and use of real property for public purposes as permztted under subsection (a) (2); 2. Consi~om of a personnel matter as permitted under subsection (a) (1); 3. Consultation with City Attorney and briefing by staff nembers pertaining to actual or potential litigation or other legal matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council as per- aitted under subsection (a) (6); 4. The disposition of publicly held property as permitted ~nder subsection (a) (2); S. Consideration of appointments by the City Council as per- ~itted under subsection (a) (1).
