November 26, 2013 <br />Community Policy & Management Team <br />Gracie Taylor to be appointed to replace William Park. <br />Cultural Alliance-Liason <br />Kathy Batkin to be appointed. <br />Economic Development Authority <br />Aaron Kelley to be reappointed to fill a four year term ending December 31, 2017. <br />Portsmouth Port & Industrial Commission <br />Edward Barham to be reappointed to fill a five year term ending December 31, 2018. <br />James Bento to be reappointed to fill a five year term ending December 31, 2018. <br />Southeastern Public Service Authority <br />George Willson to be reappointed to fill a four year term ending December 31, 2017. <br />Towing Advisory Board <br />Bob Baldwin to be appointed to term ending May 31, 2014, replacing Fred Brusso. <br />Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Mr. Cherry, to close nominations, and <br />the above nominations were adopted by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Cherry, Edmonds, Meeks, Moody, Psimas, Randall, Wright <br />Nays: None <br />13 - 484 -Items Submitted by Council Members <br />- Mayor Wright informed citizens of the following events: <br />- Recipient of the Terry Zahn Spirit Award from the American Cancer Society <br />Relay for Life. <br />- Recipient of the 2013 Market Place Leadership Award from the Christian <br />Business Chamber of Hampton Roads. <br />- 156t" Anniversary of Emmanuel American Methodist Episcopal Church. <br />- 32nd Anniversary of Pastor Joe B.
