474 <br />July 23, 2013 <br />13 - 315 -Items Submitted by Council Members <br />- Mayor Wright spoke on the following: <br />- Star Work Site Designation awarded to Cintas Inc. by the Virginia Occupational <br />Safety and Health Administration's Voluntary Protection Program. <br />- Congratulated Carter Kostler, from Cox High School, for his invention. <br />- Dr. Edmonds informed citizens that there is no admission fee for the Splash Park. <br />13 - 316 -Report on Pending Items <br />• Bernadette Hogge, Ombudsman, gave an update on items of concern presented by <br />citizens at the July 9, 2013 City Council Meeting. <br />13 - 317 -Non-Agenda Speakers <br />1. J. Brewer Moore, 308 Bobby Jones Drive, spoke on the City's designation as an All <br />America City. <br />- Mr. Moody received consensus of City Council to have Staff look into reapplying for <br />the All America City designation. <br />2. Mark Geduldig-Yatrofsky, P. O. Box 50141, spoke on the need to expedite the <br />formulation and codification of policies needed to administer recently received bond <br />proceeds. He also asked that citizens be allowed to provide input on those policies. <br />3. Donna Sayegh, 3104 Garland Drive, spoke of Principle of Liberty #20. <br />4.
