Barnes, J. Rob~rt~r~y, <br />L. Louise Lucas, J. Herbert Simpson, George L. Hanbury, <br />City Manager, Steven Lieberman, City Attorney. <br /> <br />Absent:-- E. G. Corprew, Jr., Gloria O. Webb <br /> <br />87-272 The following call For the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held <br />in the Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street <br />at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 1987, for the purpose of consider <br />~ng a motion to go into an executive session. <br /> <br />By the order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. Simpson, to go into an <br />execut~ive session in accordance ~ith Section 2.1-344 of the Code of <br />Virginia to discuss the following: <br /> <br /> 1. The condition, acquisition and use of real property for <br />public purposes as permitted under subsection (a) (2); <br /> <br /> 2. Consideration of a personnel matter as permitted under <br />subsection La) (1); <br /> <br /> 3. Consultation with City <br />members pertaining no actual or <br />matters within the jurisdiction <br />under subsection (a) (6), <br /> <br />Attorney and briefing by staff <br />potential litigation or other legal <br />of the City Council as permitted <br /> <br /> 4. The disposinion of publicly held property as permitted <br />under subsection (a) (2), <br /> <br /> S. Consideration of appointments by the City Council as <br />~ermitted under subsection (a) (1). <br /> <br />On motion was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />* Vice Mayor Webb arrived an 5:25 o.m. and Councilman Cerprew <br />arrived at 5:45 p.m. for the executive session. <br /> <br /> <br />
